A trip to the local zoo can be helpful. Not to me, but to our ancestor, the gorilla. A camera lens can also be worth its price in gold, when it comes to the health, welfare, and ending the suffering of an animal. Here is a close up photograph of the broken, rotting, infected, fang that I was able to capture when this birthday gorilla roared for some romaine lettuce. I didn't see the image until I returned home. I was pretty upset for I knew he had to be in intense pain. The gum next to the tooth was severely red and inflamed. I contacted my equine veterinarean who contacted the zoo. I hope that they were able to help him! So happy that I was there to capture this. I hope this 20 year old birthday boy is getting relief!
