Polo great dies from injuries after fall at Wellington tournament
A very sad day for the polo community!
A very happy belated Valentines everyone! Meet Hank. A stunning golden labrador! He is owned by a friend and neighbor of mine! He is one guy that is all about LOVE! So, with his warm eyes to you, a very happy belated Valentines day!
Then, the sun came out and made beautiful shadows, after the storm. You may notice, there are large tree limbs down at the end of the fence line from an ice storm here in Aiken, SC. If you look to the right, almost at the end, there is a little dog statue. Untouched, and sacred. My MissyBrewer chocolate lab girl is buried there, and so is a kitty named Snookems. The aftermath of the storm is horrific, but all animals safe. Even, my cherished passed away babies.
Jester, is the name of my horse here. He was taking a time to see a potential intruder. After this ice storm, I can imagine that they are on high alert. But, actually, the ice storm helped them become a bit more "spook-free."
A flightless bird of the Sahara
who buries his head in the sand
just look at my long lashes
and feathers oh so grand!
let me run a marathon
at speeds of miles per hour
with my long neck and two toed feet
I have atomic power!
Never under estimate the power of a horse. In strength, character, spirit, and wisdom. We are just lucky enough to be along for the ride.
