My baby boy Harrison Ford Fix was sent to heaven today. I know he is now without pain, and running with his past friends who are with him now. I also know that his Dad, George, is holding him tightly and throwing a ball to him.
I miss you Harrison. It was so hard to let you leave.... You will always be my baby boy...

The Aiken Fall Steeplechase was today! Here is a teaser photograph before a gallery of photo's that will be here tomorrow! Check back! I think you will like them!
Laurie Here is a photograph from a wonderful photo shoot with Julie Robins. www.Julierobins.com I love this photograph
for the huge intenseness of the power of the look from her horse Dezi, and the communication of a partnership between the two. This is just one of several of the photo shoot. This one I can share, because she has too! Thank you Julie for the shoot. I really want you to "FEEL" this photo. I bet, you can't take your eyes off of it! I can't! Enjoy! Some thought provoking photographs of a wonderful game of POLO, but if you look closely you will see the horses and their reactions. Upsets me, a ton. Remember to click on the photograph below to go to the gallery, then click on the photo one more time to see all of the photographs. Remember, click on the word "SLIDESHOW" at the top right for a large view!

Let me know what you think! Here I live in Aiken SC and yesterday, was the FIRST time for me at a Polo game. Actually, two right in a row! I had so much fun, but I have to tell you that shooting a game of POLO without knowing what to shoot was exciting! I will be posting the album soon on my gallery page, but for now - a teaser... What do you think?
hmmm - just wait... I think you will like it! :) This is more of an artsy photo. The action will be in the gallery. The horses are worked so hard, and I was happy to see they get relief after their hard work. New camera, new lens. Oh my, my, my. Detail is beautiful. Love the eye lashes, hair (or is it fur?). I have always wondered about that! So, the question is, "can you see me?" Hint - it's in the eye...
Could it be the daily apple that delivers a dapple? Below is a dappled palomino named Nugget. Since he gets an apple a day, that means there are 365 d-apples on him! :O If you wish to count. A dapple is the circular rings in the coat of a horse that isn't seen very often. The story goes is that a dappled horse is a very healthy and HAPPY horse! I believe so! To me though, his dapples almost are in the shape of snowflakes. Very interesting in deed! He is also a partner of mine, in life and love. He gives 100%, and I appreciate every one in the hundred! :)
