This is Lil Bit! A beautiful miniature horse owned by Barbara Holloway. Lots of character in this guy! Just love his expression and the lighting. Love the expression on this horse's face. Love the swirls in the neck!

I had a fantastic day photographing some beautiful horses owned by Barbara Holloway. I am still getting the best of them together, so just a teaser here below. What I like about this photograph is just EVERYTHING. It encompasses what a photograph should be. Depth, feeling, a huge wow for me. I am seriously enamored by my own photo! This is a huge wow for me to photograph, and a huge wow for me to see it. What an exceptional horse. A WOW! Something about this photo has grabbed me by the hind end and hasn't let go. Hope you love it, as much as me! WOW. Thank you Barbara! This horse's name is Cozmo. Not sure how he spells his name, but he loves his owner, and is so thankful for her and her loving care. The poor guy had his tail broken, and several months later is now able to move it some. The owner, Barbara, has had to help with cleaning the hind end for him for a long time. You can just see in his eyes that he would do just about anything for her. She has for him. A true love, and thank you God for the people who love animals. We are not perfect, and our animals aren't either, so thank goodness that we have compassionate owners who rise to help us!!! What a beautiful horse. I am working on the rest of today's photo shoot, and will share with all of you soon.
I am not usually a photographer of people. Something changed this during my day at the Spring Steeplechase here in Aiken, SC. The day started out to be pretty nice, then, the weather turned into a pretty large downpour. I was in the "tent" at the finish line. If you have never been, it is a wonderful experience. Large lunch buffet, live band, and an open bar. Well, as the rain came, the people entered the tent with a huge question in their mind! What to do? I am not sure, but just guessing that everyone got in line for the bar. Two bars... Later, the sun came back out and everyone was in full swing. I decided to start taking photographs of PEOPLE. Well, I have a project for you. Do you like to read people?
Have some fun here, dive into these photo's. You will not believe what you will see! Yes, there are a few horses too, but mainly, OH MY GOSH! I would comment on the photographs myself, but I need to, well let's say - I take the fifth. Please, though, let me know what YOU see! :) or just like em'! he he I thought about having a photo of these a "day", but their are way too many Remember to click on SLIDESHOW to see the full screen! |
