Here is my horse named Guinness. I believe I have talked about him before here. He was starving and all bones when I rescued him. He is a hugely sensitive, sentimental guy. You can possibly see this in his eye.
He is leery of people for good reason, but when I am the least upset he reads me and he comes to soothe every upset emotion that I have. He is one intuitive guy, that I could never live without. Hope you like him, the way his mane flows up to his ears that are at attention. The lighting of the forest in the background. So, I wonder what YOU think he is thinking about? I know, but I am not going to tell...

You can always go back to this gallery by clicking on the tab at the top of this web page called Galleries and Purchasing. Don't forget to click on the word "SLIDESHOW" at the top right of your screen for a huge view. You can set the speed on the left top of your screen from slow, medium, to fast. I hope you enjoy these photo's. I would have liked to just use each of these in my DAILY PHOTO, but thought I would share them all at once. I may throw a few into the daily photo, just so I can point out some neat things in a few of these photographs. Now, let's go to the competition!!! :) Laying in a green field, yellow flowers abound, warm sun on your face, and two men. Two? Two men did she say? One on your left, one on your right. Soft nuzzling. Could this be cowgirl heaven? What would your heaven on earth be if you could paint your own picture? TELL ME!!! I promise not to share with anyone... ;)
In your dream - the man on your left is named Doc, and the man on your right is named Borrego.... Please don't disturb my dream and pinch me! Here is a true partner in the horse world. A horse named Smokey owned by my friend Debbie. Love that his forelock is parted in the middle. The outline of the beautiful leather bridle. The highlights on his head. The swirl in the middle of his forehead. The beautiful mane combed perfectly. His eyes intent on listening to his owner. The little brow lines, and the short white lashes.
What a handsome guy! I love photographs that make you question, "what's going on here?" That give you a feeling. Is it sadness? Is it tiredness? How about happiness? To me this photograph is intriguing. The is Boyd Martin, our U.S. Olympic athlete returning to his trailer after a competition. Head down, deep in thought. The horses blurred in the distance fits his private mood. The hat and crop to his left side. The small U.S. flag on the left side of his boot. Silver spurs, silver buttons on the back of his jacket. Put yourself into this photograph.
Where are you now? Best buddies (some of the time) Beau and Nugget enjoying a mutual back scratch in the early morning dew hour.
