Coming into the digital age of photography has been a lot of fun. However, when I use to rely on film and my darkroom I had fun too! With digital photographs being so clear and precise, it is hard to go backwards. I really loved some of my old black and white printed by hand photographs. I have been working on this one. I basically had to scan a copy of the photograph and detail it. It starts out with a ton of flaws. A lot of dust that needs to be removed from the scanned photo, etc. I am happy how this one came out. This cheetah demanded some lens time! I thought I would try to bring him back to life. Enjoy!

Loved the intensity this horse had on me and my camera. I had arrived to photograph a horse clinic given by three star Parelli instructor Don Jessop. It was a cold morning yesterday so the participants were getting instruction in the warmth of the clubhouse. The horses calmly waited for the return of their riders in small paddocks. This horse in particular was eyeing me as if to say, "either hay, cookies, or free me now!" Ha! He was definitely a beauty. I loved the clear eye and the white eyelashes above the other. The warmth of the morning sun rising.
