Maybe, they were wrong. They say, it is "the apple of your eye." Logical for a horse. Unless you are a long eye-lashed beauty! Then, a colorful bouquet of flowers can surpass the apple.

The hoof on its tip
a ballerina twirl four legs together for a precise whirl. The glow of his eye the red of his tail a turn key performance now time to exhale. Doc-boy has been on a very long journey for a ten year old. Lucky for him, a new owner (Suzette) fell in love with him! Suzette described him as "overly fearful to all stimuli, reactive, stiff, predictably suspicious, mentally crippled, totally embodied the flight characteristics of a prey animal." "He was not a broke horse, but a broken one." "To love him was not enough."
"To be trusted is a greater compliment than to be loved." George MacDonald Suzette's care, courage, and through the education she acquired through Julie Robins and Kendra DeKay, she has transformed him into one trusting soul partner. To have a horse put away his fears and put their trust into you, well, there isn't anything in the world like it. What a handsome, regal guy. For more photographs and a look at the demo Suzette gave with him during the opening day of The Aiken Horsemanship Academy, check out the gallery button at Lauriefixphotography.com There is a gallery in there for this. Enjoy! Meet a beautiful horse named Whimsy, owned by Julie Robins. If you have read or seen some of my photographs, you have probably realized I am into the "eye's" of the subject. I really liked this gal below for her white color. I really though wanted her eyes to speak to you, I hope they do. They remind me somehow of myself when I am deep in thought and the world is standing still. Stare into her eyes, let her take you away. Then, when you wake up, imagine feeling the strands of her beautiful mane between your fingers, then run your hand over the silky tops of her ears.
I have a feeling she will love the attention... Last evening I was so happy to find that Beau seemed to be doing better! I guess my energy was high and happy enough to have it rub off on my horse Nugget! Nugget is Beau's pasture mate, but has been separated from Beau since his illness. He was wanting to play, and I am not sure how/why I decided to film him rolling. It ended up with a huge fun romp! Hope you enjoy. Please keep praying for my Beau and sending good energy to his health. We are still in the midst of solving what is wrong and keeping him alive! His REGAL name is, Godfather's Beau Dancer. He is the lowest in the herd, and the hugest pleaser and lover. He is taking his medicine like a champ, but he needs your prayers and support to get him through this!
Beau is one of my horses. He is the sweetest soul in the entire world. Please say a prayer for him, things are not well right now. I am of course, a mess. He is demonstrating the Missouri fox trot here in the photo. Walking in the front legs, and trotting in the back. I love my Beau!!!!!!
