This photograph was taken last February of 2010. A snow storm event here in South Carolina. There is something about snow that makes you hear,
nothing. The silence of snow. Just looking at this photograph you hear, nothing. Silence. You would think (I bet you do) that this is a black and white photograph. I would like to tell you that it is. It is not. Can you make out some green in the large X's on the left barn? How about the dark brown of the hitching post area to the far right of the photograph. Otherwise, yes, you would THINK that this is a black and white. It is not. It is just about the silence of being - black and white. Cold snow. Oh, the peacefulness!
