High definition, high dynamic range, HDR, etc., in photography. You have undoubtedly come across visualizing an image with this filter in place. Many up and coming photographers have this process labeled as a "signature" of their art work. Never going back to a photograph that isn't enhanced in this way. Personally, I haven't dived into that pool, until today. Voila, an experiment below. HDR'd enhanced. Not a great deal, but tweaked a bit.
Like it? You definitely can see the detail and the rough edge of the fur. But is it real? Of course it is a real photograph, but to me it isn't what I see in a real life visualizing moment (so to speak). So, I guess for me, I am not sold. :O my opinion of course… :)
