I loved how this horse had such a sweetness to him, even though he had such a strong bit in his mouth. The rope around his nose attached to the piece of leather on his breast plate kept him from rearing. It is usually called a "tie down." His eye tells the story of acute alertness to his riders hands. To me, there is fear in his eye. Wish I could have brought him home with me.
