I am learning every single day. This involves every aspect of my life! Whether it be horses, photography, art, cooking, living, or love! In the photography though, I am learning to "see." I know if you are a follower of my photographs I like to tell you what "I" see. I am trying to make this a part time thing, so that YOU will now see your own thoughts. If you would rather have me always tell you my thoughts, let me know. I am a pretty darn hard critic on myself. I am hoping that you can now look at the entire photo that I post, look at every side, every angle, every thought - and have fun. I only wish, to you, is that my photographs intrigue you. They have
depth. It is not a flat photo. You, if you look harder, will see in each photo, there is a puzzle. So, let's see if you figure it out. The puzzle being, "did you see that?." Tomorrow's photo will be one for you to check out for sure. Glad you loved todays! Laurie

This was a beautiful, stunning, handsome, gorgeous, impressive, jaw dropping guy at the Aiken Winter classic 2013. I just fell in love with him and wanted to try to capture his beautiful, kind eye. His owner told me that he was indeed, "perfect." He really was!
Taken at the Aiken Winter Classic, Progressive Show Jumping. 1-12-13. Please forward this link on to the little rider's parent's if you may recognize her.
This photograph is not for sale. The below photo holds many emotions. I hope you like it. stress?
Love the details of the lashes, brows, muzzle/nose hair. The bridle covering a large white spot on his nose. The EYE. All knowing. The mouth in contortion, chewing, thinking. Stress has a huge way of affecting people, and the energy is communicated to your horse in a nano second. 24 years ago, there was a love. There was a partnership. That lasted! Horses and humans are alike. Please, never take a horse that is in love with another horse, away from him/her. Please don't.
24 years ago today, I married the love of my life. He still lives in me, and I will, see him soon. Thank you my love, George Fix, for marrying me, and making me the most loved, and cherished woman ever. Happy Anniversary! I miss you more than ever, and LOVE is a GREAT thing. IT DOES LAST! The horses below, know, that they are together. Even blind folded, they sense their heat, their energy, their connection. I know, that love, can be present again. It will, I just have to accept it. "Some where, over the rainbow, I am the winner, for even with a mishap, I have the love of my jockey, my partner. I may not win by a nose, but I truly, am the lucky one!" |
